Mommy called Grandma to tell her that I had a good night and am doing well. The doctors say that I'm doing well enough that they may be able to close up my chest as early as tomorrow!
I'm retaining a little fluid, so they put me back on lasiks.
I like it when mommy & daddy come back to visit me - I am letting them know that I hear them even though I'm still sedated. This should bring them some comfort.
The 44th President of the United States was sworn in today - President Obama - he's almost as important as me.

ReplyDeleteHi everyone, Michele and I are holding our own. Maximus is doing well, like Di said he has to lower his fluid level before they can close his chest. I don't know how to describe the site. Let me just say that I hope none of you have to see your child in that condition. We are just waiting, and praying. He is strong. Today he is able to grab my finger, and wiggle his legs. If he gets too fiesty, they will sedate him so he doesn't hurt him self. Michele and I thank all of you for your prayers and concern. Those of you who know me, know I have not had an easy life, but nothing untill now has been able to prepair me for this.

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonder you are. You are so beautiful . We pray for you and your Mom & Dad daily and ask God to hold you and give you strength to fight and grow stronger. At church sunday the congregation was so excited to hear you had been born. Now I may have to print off a pic to hang on the board to remind everyone to continue praying, as so many people who love you and your Mommy and Daddy are doing. Try to take care of your Mommy & Daddy, they are going to be hanging around there a lot until you can go home with them and finally het some rest . : ) All our love to you and Mommy and Daddy,
