Today's the day.

Hello everyone, today is the day Maximus should have his chest closed. His swelling is going down. So they should close. Here are the latest photo's. Not much is diffrent, except Maximus is moving more, and he opens his eyes from time to time. Michele and I are not supprised, but amazed at the out pouring of support we have had. Thank all of you, it means more than you can imagine. Michele has a hard time reading the blogg comments with out crying, to tell the truth, so do I.

  1. John, Michele and Maximus,
I can't even begin to imagine what you are feeling. My thoughts and prayers are with you every minute. He is an amazing little guy and is proving how strong he is. Keep up your strengh because soon he is going to be demanding to be held every minute (what a wonderful job that will be). Keep the updates coming because there are so many of us that care a great deal. Thinking of you and praying for you. Bonnie Simon

  8. John, Michele and Maximus,

Our family has been praying for you all. We are asking God to heal Max and to give you the strength to endure this adventure. We also ask God to continue to guide the surgeon's hands and to continue to give the hospital staff knowledge and compassion.
If you need anything - call - we will listen anytime you need.
God Bless all of you. Chuck and Cindy and family.
P.S. May I put your family on our church's prayer chain?

  15. Dear God,
We thank you for Maximus and his mommy and daddy. We thank you for wonderful doctors and family and friends that continue to pray for this little boy.
We ask you God to heal Max's body quickly we ask that you comfort his parents as they endure this most difficult time. Lord we know that you hear the prayers from across the world in many languages as people have placed this baby on many prayer chains that reach across the your land. We pray for this little man who has touched so many lives in just ten days. Dear God we know that you are a God of healing and that you hear our prayers so today we are praying for this little boy with all of our hearts. Your word says "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope". thank you God for these words. Thank you for healing this precious child that you have blessed John and Michele with. He truly is a gift from you.
In the name of Jesus we trust this healing to to you.

    Amen

  16. Sorry to hear that they weren't able to close him up after all. Hopefully that will change soon. I am still trying to decide if his nickname should be "Miracle Max" or "Mighty Max". Both fit him! We will see you all soon!
