Thinking about Maximus's Mom......

Good evening everyone. Today as you have all read was a very disapointing day. Michele is the strongest woman I have ever met. I guess that is why I married her. :) She is very worried, and tired. She keeps her head high while her heart is low. Like all Mom's, she just longs to hold her child and comfort him. Every day that goes by, she is loosing time to hold her baby. For those of you who have already raised your children, you know how un-replaceable one day can be. So in your prayers tonight, along with Max, remember your own children. When you see them again, don't wait, hold them and remember the day you could'nt.

  1. John, Michele and Baby Maximus,
We will for sure keep you all in our prayers. I can not even imagine how difficult this must be for the both of you...all three of you really. I can hardly read the blogs without crying, you've all really touched my heart! I can't wait to see all of you home with your precious son! Love to you all! Oh, and John, you are a great hubby and daddy. LOVE ALWAYS!
    Love you and yours,
    Mike, Millie, Jeffrey and Shelby

  2. I hear that people are having trouble making comments. What I have done is type my comment, than I select the profile as url, or anonymous. Then I would click preview just to make sure What I typed is what I want to say. Then post comment. It will give you a word scroll, you have to type it as you see it, nothing fancy, just exactly what it says. Then it would post. Try this, and see how it goes.

  4. I sure wish I knew what to say to help be an inspiration for the three of you. The latest blog made me cry harder than the other ones did. I think it is because I would agree that Michele is a strong woman. I took your advice and hugged my daughter even harder. I will keep sending prayers and positive thoughts. Don't lose hope and keep talking to Max, it's your voices that will keep giving him the strength. Bonnie Simon

  5. My heart is breaking for you guys. I have been in your position where I couldn't hold my baby, and it is the most helpless feeling. In the weeks that Abby was in the neonatal ICU at Sparrow, I had to be satisfied with with feeling her tiny fist gripped around my finger, resting my hand on the top of her head, or against the bottom of her feet, talking or singing to her. You will get to hold your baby soon--and don't let anyone tell you that you'll spoil him by holding him too much. You've got lost time to make up for. He is a precious boy, but a fighter, too. He also has so many people who love him so much--so do you and Michele. With all that love in the universe, I know that he is going to be just fine.

Please, if there is anything we can do to help, let us know.

    Love you,
Aunt Barb, Uncle John T., Courtney, Shannon, Alex, Abby, and Ryan

  9. Dear John,
I don't know you but I think you must be a very caring man to be so considerate of Michele and how she is feeling. I'm sure you are also tired and frustrated but just hang in there....God will wrap Himself around all of you and comfort you until Max gets better. Just continue with faith and trust in The Almighty and His plan. Please give Michele a big hug for me and let her know I'm thinking and praying for all of you, especially baby Max. Prayers continuing, God bless. Jan Ignatoski :)
