Good news.
Maximus is done with his surgery. A Nurse came back to tell us that it is over, and everything looks good so far. He will be coming down in about a half hour. He will be asleep, and hopped up on drugs. Thank you all for your prayers. I will try to get some photos when he gets into the care unit.

That is great news. I'm sorry to hear you had to wait so long but glad that Max didn't decide that he was starving when you couldn't do anything about it. Hopefully he will have a restful night again and you two can get a little rest too. I'm sure you haven't had much with or without the fire drills. Keep us informed on the progress.

I am happy to hear that all went well. What a long wait. I am sure that must have seemed like days instead of hours. Thanks for keeping the blog up to date. We will keep the prayers going so that he can be strong enough to go back home. I know you already know this but he is adorable and such a strong little guy too. Try and rest as I am sure it is needed. Bonnie Simon
